Welcome to Tea on the Titanic The Tea on the Titanic Festival at Moira Demesne is one of three
great events that make up the Northern Ireland Countryside Festival the
Province's top countryside attraction. Over the weekend of 26th &
27th May, visitors to the Festival can enjoy the entertainment, food and
refreshments and all the family fun that is Tea on the Titanic. It is fitting in this special Titanic year that we in Northern Ireland remember the great legacy of the ship and celebrate Titanic in a positive manner. What better than a festival dedicated to music, dance and good food? We don't have a dance band playing for you but we do have popular music, folk and Celtic rock, country music, blues and jazz and even an Abba Tribute Band, The Bjorn Identity, headlining on Saturday evening. It will be an eclectic mix of music, food and family entertainment running through until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday 26th and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday 27th May. It's a fantastic location at Moira Demesne for our evening of music in the park. There is a traditional beer tent, a variety of food outlets, undercover as well as open-air seating and a great atmosphere for every member of your family to savour. We hope that many of you will want to come in Edwardian dress for the festival and to encourage just that we'll even give you a voucher for a free drink at the bar when you buy your ticket! We would love you to come and spend all day with us at the Northern Ireland Countryside Festival, enjoy a full day's entertainment at the Festival and then stay for the music until late. But if you just want to come to the Tea on the Titanic Festival we even have half-price evening tickets for just costing £5 after 5:00 p.m. And remember - children under 16 are admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult. Now that has to be the best deal at any event this year! See the links here for more information on this unique music and food event in Northern Ireland this year. |
